Vase pancake rock, by Yksi ontwerp
The vase is named after the Park Pancake Rocks New Zealand, a rock in the sea that looks like a huge stack of pancakes.
Vase of felt
With a water jet technique, punched disks of different diameter are formed and stacked (115 layers!). Felt, made from waste yarn, is generally used as insulating elastic layer when using carpet. The use of existing materials gives this design an entirely new function and appearance. In the middle is a glass cylinder, so that you can put the most beautiful flowers in this vase.
